Information about USP company in Ukraine:
The USP representative office started its activity in Ukraine in 2003. Launching Ibuprom and Gripex brands on the Ukrainian market, USP has become a major player in two main categories in OTC market - analgesics and cold & flu categories.
Since 2003, Gripex and Ibuprom brands are developing and strengthening its market position. Both brands are strongly supported by media and trade. Portfolio of both brands is regularly extended with new variants and forms of drugs so as to best adapt to the local consumer requirements. (eg. Gripex introduced product in the form of sachets Gripex Hot Active and Ibuprom introduced liquid capsule Ibuprom Sprint Caps).
Consumers had appreciated our efforts and awarded the prize for Gripex brand "The Favourite of Success". Therefore, Ukrainian customers confirmed that „Better have Gripex, than flu!".
In the category of analgesics brand Ibuprom notes sales increases year to year, thus it boldly proves that the catchword "Ibuprom - stronger than pain!" is reflected in reality.
Following the expectations of consumers the company is constantly expanding its product portfolio by introducing new brands in new categories.
In the category of anti-diarrhea products , USP launched a Stoperan brand, and in the antihistamine category - Aleric brand.
Milestones of USP development in Ukraine:
2002 USP started to run the business in Ukraine, launching brands Ibuprom (analgesic remedy) and Gripex (cold&flu remedy) to the market
2003 USP representative office was founded
2005 Brand Ibuprom launched additional line extension - Ibuprom Max
2006 Extending Gripex brand with new SKU Gripex Max and launching new brand Stoperan (anty -diarrhea remedy) on the market
2008 Extending Ibuprom portfolio for a new line extension - Ibuprom Sprint Caps
2009 Extending Gripex portfolio for a new products Gripex Hot Active and Gripex Hot Active Max. Extending brand Ibuprom with new SKU Ibuprom 50. Launching brand new Aleric (antihistaminic remedy).
