In May 2008, Apap has introduced adapted to the needs of poor vision and blind people packaging with Braille designations. Simultaneously there have been prepared other, user-friendly solutions for blind and with poor vision people.

Adjustment of domestic regulations to EU acquis determines, among others, alterations in Pharmaceutical Law. Starting from 2010 in Poland on each medicine- on the exterior packaging- there should be the name of the product written in Braille (does not apply to animal health products). On patient’s request, but thorough the patients organizations, the content of a leaflet added to the medical product can be received in a form accordant to needs of blind people and the ones with poor vision.

Apap brand, two years before the statutory time-limit, has introduced the solution which will serve the convenience and safety of blind people. Packaging of Apap were designated in Braille and also special CDs with leaflets in audio-version were prepared and are available at pharmacies. This web site as well fulfills requirements of blind people who can find on it, among others, information on usage of every variety of the drug.
